Compact Low Budget House by Rural Design
Here is another small vacation home that is finished by Rural Design. Situated on the Isle of Skye, the house measures 75 square meters with two bedrooms. The house is built with low budget, about 115,000 and has amazing view of the surrounding environment. The main materials to finish the house are corrugated metal for the roof, sawn timber for the walls and ceilings, and polished concrete for the flooring. The house is aimed to maintain the circulation in minimum to reduce footprint of the building. In order to achieve that goal, the bedrooms and other spaces are linked via a central living room. The house is covered with expansive glass windows to allow natural light fill in the whole interior and invite the outdoor views in.
